These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website and services provided by Alcide Automations ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website at https://alcideautomations.com or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Services

Alcide Automations provides AI-powered receptionist, appointment booking, and SMS automation services for small service businesses. Our Services include but are not limited to:

• 24/7 AI receptionist for answering inbound phone calls
• Automated appointment scheduling and calendar integration
• SMS appointment confirmations and reminders
• Missed call follow-up text automation

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement on behalf of yourself or your business to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Account and Demo Bookings

When you book a demo or engage our Services, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials or access information we provide and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. SMS Messaging Terms

By providing your phone number and engaging our SMS services, you consent to receive automated text messages from Alcide Automations related to appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or contact us at evanalcide@alcideautomations.com.

We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our Services to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Transmit any unlawful, harassing, or fraudulent content
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our Services
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems
• Use the Services for any purpose other than legitimate business operations

6. Payment and Billing

Fees for our Services are billed on a monthly subscription basis as outlined in our pricing. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method on file. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at evanalcide@alcideautomations.com. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, software, and materials associated with Alcide Automations — including but not limited to logos, text, graphics, and AI scripts — are the intellectual property of Alcide Automations and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our express written permission.

9. Third-Party Integrations

Our Services may integrate with third-party platforms such as Google Calendar, Calendly, and SMS providers. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party services.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the Services is at your sole risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alcide Automations shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alcide Automations and its affiliates, officers, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Maryland.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
